Information about Auditorium!

The Gurdon Public Schools and the Committee to Raise the Curtain
asks for your support in raising money to construct a new auditorium and music complex on the campus of Gurdon High School.

The Gurdon school board has approved plans for a new $3.5 million facility to be located on the north side of the campus at the corner of Highway 67 and Go-Devil Drive.  The new auditorium will contain the following features:

        and graduating class composite photos
        Instrument storage (the present band
        room will become the Alternative
        Learning Center)

In the past 6 years, the Gurdon school district has wisely invested $8 million on the following facilities, known throughout south Arkansas as some of the finest in out region:



Our school and community now look to the next project- a new auditorium.

We hope this general information about the building program will help you better understand the need for this facility.  Committees are working on several fund raising projects, and different levels of giving have been established, includeing engraved dedication bricks for the entryway.  There is a level that’s right for everyone.  All contributions are tax deductible.  Click here for giving levels.
